AWESOME conference in Chicago. This was my first, and as a property manager, I will surely encourage my SC to attend in the future.

Deb Vath, City of Clinton Housing Authority, IA

Outstanding Conference! I am going to recommend to my Regional Vice President that all service coordinators in our region have next year’s conference in the budget.

Alexandra Berg, National Church Residences, TN

Coming from such a remote locale as Prince of Wales Island in southern Southeast Alaska you cannot even begin to know how much an opportunity, such as the one I was provided by attending the conference, means. It has opened new doors and added perspective to the importance of what we do.

Leaving Lasting Impressions...

Community Building
The quick chat in the hallway and the whispered commentary during a workshop all help to build shared experiences that are incredibly powerful. Once you've shared a few meals or a few jokes with someone, you're fast friends. If you need them to answer some questions over email or vice versa, you're quick to come to one another's aid.

The service coordinator community thrives on these kinds of connections. This year we have created The Meeting Spot at the National Conference to help attendees network with peers and share real-life experiences face-to-face. In addition we are bringing back the JOT Social Networking system to help attendees connect before, during, and after the conference.

The JOT Social Networking site will open about a month before the conference. Attendees can build their own profiles with areas of interest to make it easier for networking onsite. Be sure to visit the site when it opens to see who shares your interests.

On Sunday, from 6:00-7:00 pm attendees are invited to visit the Meeting Spot for a Meet & Greet hour. Tuesday afternoon, from 5:00-6:00 pm we have set aside some time for Round Table Networking at the Meeting Spot.

Be sure to visit the conference website for some tips to help you network more effectively. We look forward to seeing you in Anaheim, CA!
